Youth between 16 to 18 from Curve Lake are welcome to participate in the annual Adventure in Understanding canoe trip. The trip is a co-ed, 6 day, 5 night, 100 km canoe trip on the Trent Severn Waterway from Peterborough to Curve Lake Frist nation, for First Nation and non-native youth (16 to 18 years). It is offered annually during the last week of August by the Rotary Club of Peterborough Kawartha in co-operation with Curve Lake First Nation, Camp Kawartha and the Canadian Canoe Museum.

Preference will be given to FIRST TIME Curve Lake Youth. The registration fee will be covered for the Curve Lake youth status members. Also included is food, paddling, camping and safety equipment.
NOT PROVIDED – sleeping bads and Therm-a-rest.
This year’s event will run from 12 noon on Sunday, August 26th, 2018 to 12 noon on August 31st, 2018. Our goal is to have 3 canoes again this year with 20 students and 4 leaders.
