Today, “hockey dreams took a major stride forward” as the top 2004 born hockey players awaited this year’s Ontario hockey League’s (OHL’s) Priority Selection.

Congratulations to our very own Dalyn Wakely for being selected 30th overall today in the 2020 OHL draft by the North Bay Battalions.

Captain of the Quinte Red Devils, Dalyn led the Eastern AAA Hockey League (ETA) in points this season with 72 (30 goals and 42 assists). For two straight years Dalyn’s team won the OMHA Championship.

This is a huge accomplishment and we are proud of you. Congratulations to you and your family.

Keep working hard towards your dream and chi-miigwetch for being such a great role model for our youth Dalyn!
