The Assembly of First Nations is convening engagement sessions regarding the Indigenous Languages Act as announced by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on December 6, 2016.

Input from First Nations is being sought as this legislation is co-developed. Engagement sessions are being held and organized in a number of regions. Engagement Session details will be posted as confirmed on the AFN Language website.
