NOTICE TO COMMUNITY
The Curve Lake First Nation Community Centre is OPEN to anyone in the community that may be without hydro and/or water. If you or anyone you know, especially seniors that require transportation to the community centre, please contact the Curve Lake Health Centre at 705-657-2557.
Please be advised that due to the severe weather conditions and power outages, the Curve Lake First Nation Government Services are limited for Monday, April 16th, 2018. All essential services such as Medical Transportation, Medication Pick-up Services @ Pharmacies, and Ontario Works will be available today.
Any activities & events scheduled for today are cancelled, this includes Running Group and Youth Drop-in Night. All school buses are cancelled for the day including the Safe Travels bus.
Sorry for any inconveniences that may be caused by these closures and cancellations. Please stay safe and avoid any unnecessary travelling.
PLEASE BE AWARE:
The Curve Lake First Nation School and the Oshkigmong Early Learning Centre WILL REMAIN CLOSED April 16 and 17, 2018 due to power outages. The Oshkigmong Early Learning Centre staff are contacting parents to arrange for their child(ren) to be picked up as soon as possible.
Hydro One restoration is estimated to be 6:00 pm April 17, 2018, therefore UNLESS there is power restored early tomorrow morning, the ELC and School will remain closed.
An announcement confirming whether the services will be operational will be communicated early tomorrow morning as soon as is possible. We regret any inconvenience to our families.
