Dear Members,

As an effort to prevent visitors from coming into our community this long weekend, Chief and Council have decided in support of our incredible volunteer base, to have a security company added to the checkpoint only for the weekend. The security company will be a support for our volunteers at the Checkpoint beginning on the morning of Friday, May 15 to Monday, May 18.

This assistance from the security company will be temporary and is only to protect and support our volunteers. The security company will intervene only when necessary. We want to express our gratitude to each and every volunteer and to all community members who have been working to keep our community safe.
