The Community Healing & Wellness Worker along with NNADAP worker will be taking on a yearlong project starting on September 17th, 2018 of creating a Traditional Jingle Dress to represent the members of Curve Lake First Nation and their families.
Each day for 365 days a healing prayer and single jingle will be honored. Upon completion of the dress, a ceremony and feast will be held at the Curve lake Health & Wellness program area and an honor song requested at the 2019 Curve Lake First Nation Pow Wow ( September 14th, & 15th, 2019).
We would like to take the opportunity to invite community members to come and personalize a jingle on behalf of themselves or anyone they know who may be struggling or have had struggled with mental health, addictions, loss or any other kind of illness.
